The new Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade

I ran out of my favorite brow product, the Mac Brow Pencil in Spiked. I always have two shades in my kit, the infamous Lingering (light shade) and Spiked (dark shade). I find this as an opportunity to try a new product hence the Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade. The brand Anastasia Beverly Hills is known for creating the best brow products in the market and is a favorite among makeup artists. From their best selling brow wiz they have evolved and has been the industry leader in introducing innovative brow products.

Here is a before and after photo using Chocolate and Ebony.

This product contains 4 grams vs MAC fluid line which has 3 grams of product. I hope that gives you a good idea of how much you are getting. A very little amount goes a long way, I tested it on my self having sparse-to-none brows. As you can see on the photo above, it adheres very well on the skin and the hair. It has a lot of pigment in it. Having very oily skin, I find that this product does not budge once it sets. I tried running a finger on the brows I drew and it not transfer. Hah! My brows lasted for a good 14-hours without any brow gel!

If you are wondering, it has a very creamy texture so you have to be very careful when dipping your brush onto the jar. What I did is just get a gentle tap on the product. I would suggest not to scoop the product as you may end up wasting a lot.

The only downside I find of this product is that it's very difficult to find it locally. Also, it takes a little of getting used to as you need to use a brush to draw your brows as opposed to using a pencil.

I highly recommend this product and is definitely worth all the hype! It's a dream to apply (when you're used to it) and lasts all day (and night!).
